Midday Supervisory Assistant (Maternity Cover) job summary

We are looking to appoint a friendly and flexible Midday Supervisory Assistant to cover Maternity Leave

2x days a week (Thursday & Friday) + additional cover when needed.

2hrs per week from12:10pm until 1:10pm

The successful candidate will work with our midday team to ensure that we provide an efficient and pleasant lunchtime experience for all pupils.

Duties of the role are:

• Supervise and assist the children during their lunch
• Ensure standards for healthy eating and table manners are maintained
• Supervise and monitor behaviour in the playground or other designated areas during indoor play
• Lead the children in the establishment of suitable activities
• Maintain checks throughout the lunchtime period to ensure pupils are safe
• Be aware of and follow the school’s safeguarding, fire and other emergency procedures
