Midday Supervisory Assistant- MDSA job summary
Medeshamstede Academy is an all through Academy for 117 pupils, aged 4 to 16. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for communication and interaction with a diagnosis of Autism as their main presenting need. Pupils may have associated difficulties, within the areas of:
- Cognition and learning
- Sensory and physical needs
Most of our pupils live within the City of Peterborough and some are from Cambridgeshire and other neighbouring counties.

We have high aspirations for our pupils. We prioritise working in partnership with parents, carers, therapists and other professionals. This ensures that the needs of the individual and their families are effectively met, so that pupils achieve the best possible outcomes. Our dedicated and experienced staff skilfully plan learning provision which is personalised, engaging, and motivating; often using pupils' interests.
Medeshamstede Academy are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our team. This will include the setting up of the hall prior to lunch and the clearing of the hall afterwards as well as supporting our students with eating their lunch and playtime over the lunch period. Please see the attached specification for more details.
The working hours required are 11:30am - 2pm Monday- Friday (12.5 hours per week)
