Midday Supervisory Assistant job summary

Millbrook Primary School are looking to appoint an excellent MDSA to join their hardworking team of professionals.

This is a term time post, with 38 weeks worked per year

6 hours and 40 minutes per week

Monday to Friday 11.45am -13.05 pm

You will join our excellent team of mid-day supervisors. You will be responsible for the supervision of children during lunchtime, in the dining hall, and on the playground; and play a valuable role in encouraging and ensuring that the children play safely and imaginatively.

We are keen to hear from individuals who are patient, calm, organised and adaptable. Being able to to work as part of a team is essential, as well as being able to work on your own initiative. A positive outlook and a good sense of humour are essential.

Duties will include, putting out tables and benches, supervise and support lunches being eaten in the dining hall,supervise and support lunches being eaten in the dining hall, supervise lunchtime play on the playground and field, encouraging positive interactions and dealing with incidents, wipe and clean tables and the hall floor, put away benches and tables. Keep children safe throughout the lunch hour.
