Midday Supervisory Assistant job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Midday Supervisory Assistant - Part time ( 38 weeks per year) to join our well-established maintained nursery school team at Parklands Nursery School - Northampton.

This is a new role for the setting, offering support and supervision during the lunchtime periods. Provide security and care of children of the nursery school and to promote their social development during the lunch period.

We are looking for applicants with strong communication skills who will be able to build and maintain respectful and effective relationships with staff, children and their families. You will be motivated and resilient with excellent organisational, interpersonal and time management skills

Foundations for Children Nursery Schools Federation comprises of four maintained nursery schools: Camrose Early Years Centre for Children & Families and Parklands Nursery School in Northampton; and Croyland Nursery School & Day Nursery and Highfield Nursery School in Wellingborough. We have over 80 years' experience providing high quality early education for children aged 0-5

The ideal candidate:

• Has experience of working with Early Years children. Training is offered for candidates who wish to develop their expertise.
• Possesses outstanding communication skills and can work well in teams. Has a thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
