About the role: Cherry Orchard Primary Academy has a vacancy for a Minibus Driver to be responsible for supporting the academy with ​​​​​​school runs, transporting students and very occasional school trips. A flexible approach to this key role is essential - plus a friendly and personable demeanour!

Please be aware that we have a level of flexibility for the working hours of this role. Whilst we are looking to offer 7.5 hours per week (1.5 hours per day), 7.30am - 9.00am, we can offer a minimum of 3 days per week. Your availability can be discussed at interview stage.

Please be aware that this is a temporary opportunity until February 2023 and we would like our successful candidate to join us as soon as possible.

Working for the academy: Cherry Orchard Primary Academy is a new two-form entry primary academy for students between the ages of 3 to 11 that opened in September 2017. The academy admits a maximum of 60 children into each year between Reception and Year 6 having initially opened with places available in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. We have continued to expand and from September 2021 we have children up to year 6 and with every year group at full capacity.

The academy enjoys brand new facilities, a nursery for pre-school age children, and a small centre for children with speech, communication and language needs. At the heart of Ebbsfleet Garden City, Cherry Orchard Primary Academy is the focal point of this brand new community, providing local families with an outstanding educational facility.
