What skills and experience we're looking for

We are lookingfor a flexible, trustworthy and dependable Minibus Driver to support our children by driving them to and from visits and trips. Predominately, you will support with visits to Curly’s Farm so the successful candidate would need to have a like for animals and a willingness to join in farming activities alongside the children.

The current annual salary for this role is £23,337 FTE within the Kent Range 3, pro-rata to £17,332 based on 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

As a Minibus Driver you will play a crucial role in ensuring our pupils’ safety whilst they travel to and from school related activities. Alongside driving a minibus, the successful candidate will undertake other duties such as vehicle checks and refuelling, loading and unloading children onto the minibus and providing support to children throughout the day.

The successful candidates will be expected to drive the minibus in a responsible and competent manner, ensuring the safety of the passengers, other road users, members of the public and yourself at all times. They will have at least two year’s driving experience and a clean driving licence, with D1 on the licence. They will be required to attend a Kent Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme training course, funded by the Trust if they do not already have this training.
