Motor Vehicle Instructor (part time) job summary
We are looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Instructor to deliver Level 1 and 2 ABC and IMI qualifications to learners at Haybrook College.
You will be teaching to small groups of 14 – 16 year olds as well as to a post 16 cohort. Experience of successfully managing the learning of pupils with challenging behaviour is essential. Whilst a teaching qualification would be advantageous, it is not an essential requirement. The excellent training facilities are based on Slough Trading Estate.
You will be an energetic, highly resilient and adaptable individual who can ensure challenges are met and problems are solved. A high level of understanding of SEMH, SEND, safeguarding, equality and fairness are very important, as well as a good sense of humour, openness and compassion; all of which will be needed in this role to support young people through these challenging times.
Commitment to safeguarding
As part of our commitment to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, it is College policy to obtain references prior to interview. Applicants will be required to undertake a DBS enhanced disclosure. Haybrook College strives to be an equal opportunities employer and recruits from all sections of the community solely on basis of ability to fulfil the job requirements. As per KCSIE 2022, we may consider searching for your profile online.
