What skills and experience we're looking for

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our teaching team as our Music Lead from September 2025. This post provides an excellent opportunity for either an experienced subject lead or an ambitious and self-motivated professional to take their next steps in school leadership.

We have the ability to offer this position on a part-time (0.8) basis for a suitable candidate.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • leadership skills with the capacity to continue to grow

  • ability to implement whole school strategies within their subject area

  • a knowledge of current thinking for improving pedagogy

  • a commitment to achieving the highest standards for pupils

  • a commitment to developing themselves fully as a professional

  • the ability to support our school ethos to ensure that our children continue to grow, feel safe and enjoy success with their learning
