What skills and experience we're looking for
Middlewich Primary School is seeking to appoint a part time music teacher to cover the maternity lead of our substantive teacher,
You will be a motivated and skilled teacher who can continue to inspire and enthuse our pupils to develop a deep knowledge and love of music.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience teaching music
- Be enthusiastic about teaching and learning
- Have excellent classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
- Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum
- Have high expectations for themselves and the children to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
- A positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
- Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our school
This role may be suitable for a professional who does not yet have qualified teacher status. In this case, the successful candidate would be paid on the unqualified teacher scale.

Middlewich Primary School is situated in Middlewich, in the heart of Cheshire. We are a Group 3 school, with 400 pupils on role. The school is two-form entry with a small resource provision for children with hearing impairment. We offer families wraparound care as well as a range of afterschool activities.
