Your new role:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Music to join the vibrant Performing Arts department. The department is popular with pupils with an increasing number taking part in extracurricular activities such as creative arts performances and school productions; the department includes Music, Dance, Drama and Theatre Studies. Your enthusiasm, commitment and flexibility will be important as you work within this dynamic and exciting department. You will be committed to improving the learning outcomes for all pupils in the school.

What you will need to succeed:

A successful candidate would be a Music specialist equipped with the knowledge and skills required to deliver the GCSE course; experience of BTEC and music technology would be desirable but not essential.   

Candidates must have a passion for Music and have a desire to educate pupils of all abilities. Familiar with subsequent career options you will be able to motivate and inspire our pupils. You will be highly organised, able to radiate creativity and enthusiasm in the classroom, whilst developing strategies to maintain consistently high expectations of both yourself, and the pupils.
