Music Tutor: Drums/Percussion job summary
We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and qualified drum/percussion tutor to teach individuals/small groups during the school day. The post will be for approximately 5.5 hours per week, dependent on student uptake, and will be reviewed in July 2021 for the following academic year. Payment will be at £26 per hour. The post-holder will be teaching at Prince Henry’s and primary schools within the Otley area.
The successful candidate will have:
• Appropriate qualifications and successful teaching experience in this specific musical discipline
• The ability to enthuse and motivate students
• Excellent classroom management skills

Prince Henry’s Grammar School is a successful and over-subscribed comprehensive school with over 1630 students – including 320 in the Sixth Form. We have served the market town of Otley and the surrounding area, approximately 12 miles from Leeds, for over 400 years.
