Netball Coach job summary
Hours of work will be during term time only: Wednesday 1.00 pm to 4.30 pm for a home fixture or 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm for an away fixture
Duties will include:
- Delivering high-quality coaching to students
- Supervising recreational sporting activities, within the hours agreed by the College, and providing team training sessions to enable College teams to participate in inter-school fixtures and other competitive events
- Accompanying and supervising College teams involved in inter-school fixtures and competitions
- Assisting with the management of equipment related to the particular sport(s) including team kit
- Undertaking such coaching and other duties as may be reasonably required by the Head of Department, consistent with the job title, the competencies of the post holder and the grade of the post, and according to schedules reasonably drawn up by the Head of Department
- Undergoing such training as may be reasonably required from time to time by College Management
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of students
Our ideal Netball Coach will have:
- Educated up to GCSE English Language or equivalent
- Qualifications in coaching
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- The confidence to deal with students in a firm but friendly manner
