The Chiltern Hills Academy invites applications for an exciting opportunity to join the staff of a successful, mixed 11-18 Church of England Academy in the Chiltern Hills, conveniently situated at the end of the London Underground Metropolitan Line.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic ICT Network Manager to strategically manage the development and maintenance of our ICT infrastructure. The Academy currently has a range of Windows / Mac workstations, laptops and iPads.

Purpose of the role

  • To assist with the management and delivery of a safe, robust and effective curriculum and administrative ICT resource for use by students and staff
  • To help lead the development of the school’s ICT infrastructure, resource and technical support service in line with the School’s Development Plan
  • To assist with the management and delivery of a safe, robust and effective communications infrastructure, resource and technical support service
  • To help define procedures and provide advanced technical support through the ICT Services team.
  • To ensure that legal and contractual obligations relating to ICT resources, systems, people and services are met.

Chiltern Hills Academy is a Church of England, co-educational secondary school in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. There are circa 1025 students on the school roll, approximately 100 of whom study in the sixth form. Chiltern Hills Academy converted to academy status in 2011 and is jointly sponsored by the Diocese of Oxford and Buckinghamshire County Council.
