Job summary

We are seeking an innovative and Qualified NQT to join our school. You will need to be a hardworking and enthusiastic teaching professional with excellent subject knowledge and a sound understanding of the primary school national curriculum.

Essential educational requirements

i) Currently undertaking a course leading to the award of QTS at the end of this academic year, or:
ii) Recently acquired QTS and not taken up a permanent teaching post since the award of QTS
iii) Completed QTS skills tests

Essential qualifications

iv) Successful teaching practice or experience within a school

Essential skills and experience

1) Your philosophy about how to make learning enjoyable and rewarding for pupils
2) Ability to relate to and build positive relationships with pupils
3) Ability to organise and manage a class to promote effective learning
4) Ability to work as part of a team in the classroom and within the wider school community
5) Ability to plan, implement and assess effective teaching programmes and to evaluate classroom practice
6) Knowledge of the teacher’s role in safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children
7) Awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion issues in education
8) Communicate effectively, using written, verbal and non-verbal communication
9) Commitment to ongoing professional development
10) Ability to use IT and new technology to support learning
