NQTs required for September 2020 job summary
From September 2020 we wish to appoint to this 11-19 multi-cultural school specialising in the Sciences and Sport, highly motivated, ambitious and dynamic NQT’s who have a passion for working with young people and are committed to making a difference to their future.
We are inviting NQTs to a ‘NQT Welcome Event’ at Featherstone High School on Tuesday 4th February 2020 from 9.00am to 2.30pm. Throughout the morning you will get to meet with the Head Teacher, the dedicated NQT Coordinator and receive talks and advice from last year’s NQTs. As well as this, you will receive practical tips and resources to support you during your NQT year. Furthermore, you will have an opportunity to meet with the Head of department and observe lessons relevant to your subject.
Join us and you can expect an exceptional programme of professional studies during your first year as an NQT with the support of a dedicated mentor and an experienced Professional Tutor. We are one of very few schools to achieve the Platinum Award for CPD – a reflection of the importance we attach to supporting the professional development of colleagues.
