Nursery Lead job summary

Are you imaginative and do you enjoy engaging with children in their play?

Do you thrive working in a highly energised and exciting environment?

Are you experienced in leading teams in a visionary, values focused and child centred way?

Then our nursery is the place for you!

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and hardworking Level 3 or above qualified nursery practitioner to lead our friendly nursery team.

We are a small, 32-place nursery, taking children from two years old through to school age.

At George Grenville Academy, we believe that our holistic, language-based curriculum is the key to success for our children. Exposure to a broad range of inclusive books, environmental walks, engagement with our community and exciting clubs, enable our children to develop a wide range of vocabulary.

Communication and language is at the forefront of all we do. Opportunities are maximised through quality interactions, carefully considered learning environments and planned first-hand experiences. Through this approach, our children are enabled to acquire the confidence, knowledge, skills, values, attitudes and behaviours for successful life-long learning

What we can offer:

  • A friendly, collaborative community of children and their families, staff and governors
  • A nursery judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted
  • A small but highly effective staff team, passionate about developing the whole child
  • Support from staff across our nursery, school and small academy trust
  • Future promotional opportunities offered across the trust

Visits to our nursery are warmly welcome. We would love to show you around!

Please see the attached application pack for more information.
