Nursery Nurse job summary

For September, we are looking for a talented and committed Nursery Nurse to join our fantastic EYFS team. We have a vibrant EYFS and staff who work really hard to provide the very best education and experiences for our children who often enter with little or no English and below the national average level.

We are looking for someone who is motivated and can take their own initiative to support the teachers and pupils, for example setting up the outdoor area or continuous provision and who is confident enough to lead the whole class or small group focus activities, under direction of the teacher. The successful applicant will be confident in basic IT, have a strong working knowledge of assessment and EYFS Development Matters. Strong knowledge of Letters and Sounds phonics is essential. Experience of leading interventions appropriate for EYFS would be helpful for our setting. Please be sure to tell us about all of your experience in these areas in your application.
