What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will have:

• The ability to safeguard children and support them to develop resilience, perseverance and a love of learning.
• Childcare qualification of Level 3 or above.
• A good knowledge of EYFS curriculum enabling accurate observations and assessments.
• The ability to follow teacher planning to work with small groups
• The ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents and staff.
• A positive, engaging manner.
• The ability to use your own initiative, proactively responding to daily demands within a busy working environment.

Adel Primary School is a one form entry school in a beautiful area of Leeds with motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated children, staff, and governors.

The role will involve working in our 26 place Nursery and working alongside the class teacher to provide high quality care and education for all children, using the EYFS framework to deliver a broad, balanced and rich curriculum.

The role is from 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday and is offered on a permanent contract - term-time only.
