Nursery practitioner (Level 3) job summary
Under the direction of the Early Years Co-ordinator you will be working to support and facilitate an enabling environment for our children, engaging in partnership working, building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues alike. Knowledge of Key Person working and p revious post qualifying experience of caring for, or working with children aged 0 - 5 is essential. You would also need to be able to demonstrate your knowledge and proven practical experience of working with children, an understanding of the Early Years Foundation stage and a commitment to the provision of high quality childcare, a positive approach to learning and gaining new skills through teamwork and training opportunities.

Qualifications
A recognised Level 3 Childcare qualification (minimum)
A positive approach to gaining further training
Some understanding of the importance of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene in the workplace
Safeguarding Children Training
A current paediatric first aid certificate, food hygiene certificate, and a relevant qualification would be advantageous, or a willingness to work towards achieving them.
Applicants must be willing to undertake a DBS clearance and the Nursery must receive two satisfactory references before the successful candidate can commence employment.
