Gobowen is a large village three miles from Oswestry, in the north west of the rural county of Shropshire. It has excellent communication links, located close to the A5 trunk road and with a railway station in the village on the main Chester - Shrewsbury line. The school currently has 195 children on roll taught in seven classes and 22 children attending the Nursery
