What skills and experience we're looking for

“Because children only get one chance to benefit from a great education.”

This is our ‘why’ at Lion Academy Trust - it is our reason for doing everything that we do.

Do you agree with us? Then we want to hear from you!

We are looking for a qualified Nursery teacher to join our fantastic school Nursery setting who is committed to be as effective as they can be for our children. We will only recruit staff that can engage and inspire both pupils and colleagues. Successful candidates will be resilient, hardworking and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our provision is 'Good or better, everyday'.

We pride ourselves on being a caring and supportive employer with dedicated career development pathways.

We are forward-thinking, caring and, most important of all, a happy school where pupils of all abilities and social backgrounds achieve. Our children are at the heart of everything we do and all the decisions we make. Our children are well-behaved and always aspire to be “the best versions of themselves”.

We are a popular and fully-inclusive primary school situated in the Queensway area of Wellingborough. We became a member of the Lion Academy Trust in September 2018 and are well on our journey to making Olympic Primary an outstanding school. We have a fully resourced school and an embedded Trust pedagogy. This includes a developed programme of investment in the IT infrastructure and environment of the school both internally and externally.
