Nursery Teacher job summary
We are seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced primary teacher to lead in Nursery with effect from 1st September 2021. This is a fixed term, one-year, post. The successful applicant will possess excellent subject knowledge, creativity and communication skills, and will be able to:
• demonstrate effective, successful teaching and organisational skills
• provide a stimulating learning environment both indoors and outdoors
• enthuse and motivate children to learn and progress
• engage and involve parents, developing excellent relationships in order to support learning
• work effectively as part of a team

Wingrove is a large primary school serving a vibrant and diverse population in the west end of Newcastle upon Tyne and is part of the West End Schools’ Trust. Our Nursery offers 52 children 15 hours each week (3 hrs per day, 26 children in each of the morning and afternoon sessions).
