What skills and experience we're looking for
LEO Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor to support classes, small groups and pupils on a 1:1 basis as well as supervising lunchtimes. Applicants will be supporting teaching and learning in school. The duties will include assisting with classes, small groups and 1:1 with SEND pupils.
The successful candidate will be able to support individual pupils in a caring, patient and compassionate way, ensuring their pastoral and academic needs are met. You will work excellently as part of a team, have good communication skills, be enthusiastic, fair and kind. It is essential that you are able to follow school procedures. You will need to have experience of working with children with additional needs and be suitably qualified (please see the details in the person specification on the LEO Academy Trust website).

- Support groups of children with their learning under the guidance of a teacher

- Accompany classes on day and residential trips.
- Provide reprographic support and mount work ready to display.
