Our experienced Head teacher and her supportive senior leadership team are looking for a Nurture Leader to join their support team at Stewart Fleming Primary School. This position is term time only, 39 weeks per year. Your daily working ours will be 08.45am - 15.35pm each day with includes a 20 minute break and 30 minutes for lunch break.
The Nurture Lead Teaching Assistant is responsible for managing and coordinating a team to support children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The aim is to reduce barriers to learning and participation, thereby promoting inclusion and reintegration into mainstream learning by:
Key responsibilities include:
- Being an outstanding practitioner in their field
- Ensuring continuous improvement in children’s social and emotional skills under the supervision of the Inclusion team and senior leaders.
- Tracking performance of pupils attending the nurture group against agreed targets
- Evaluating and responding to intervention outcomes
- Leading by example to motivate and work with others
