What skills and experience we're looking for
Millside Special School educates 85 pupils with EHCPs for Social, Emotional and Mental Health including many with ASD, ADHD and Speech, Language and Communication difficulties. Key Stage 3 operates a Nurture Group approach where each class (max 8 pupils) is taught by the same teacher for all core subjects in order to delay full transition and create a more nurturing environment.
Specialist subject teaching, such as sport, DT and ICT is increased over time, so by Year 9 pupils are able to fully access subject specific teaching.
We require a Y9 form tutor and teacher for English, Maths, PSCHE and Humanities. Applicants should have:

relevant experience will be considered.
