Nurture Teacher job summary

We have an exciting position for a qualified teacher, dedicated to working with pupils who demonstrate a wide range of educational, social and emotional needs. The position is to work within our nurture unit – providing alternative provision - in the heart of our mainstream setting and supporting pupils to achieve their educational goals, on a one-to-one and small group level.

The ideal teacher will have a passionate interest in working with our most vulnerable pupils, who may also demonstrate significant emotional barriers to learning. They will have a creative, dynamic and calm approach to supporting pupils with all areas of the curriculum and the ability to engage well with all pupil profiles. Experience of working with pupils with SEND, as well as teaching literacy would be beneficial.
