Office Administrator job summary
INTERNAL ONLY
We have a new opportunity to join our recently established office team on a full time permanent basis. Working 40 weeks per year, 37 hours per week normally 8am - 4pm with one day finishing at 3.30 by agreement.

We are looking for committed, talented individual to be part of the school admin team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, resilient, super-organised and customer focused administrator, where no two days are ever the same.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an extremely precise level of attention to detail, a positive, friendly, and welcoming manner in person and on the telephone, have excellent IT skills in MS Word and MS Excel, with an excellent proficiency and confidence with computers. No prior knowledge of school systems is required, as full training will be provided, however previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
In this role you will work directly with the Headteacher, Office Manager and other staff as appropriate, maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality on a range of working tasks, supporting the smooth running of the academy.
The post holder will:
- Respond independently to unanticipated problems and situations.
- Deal with complicated or sensitive information orally or in writing with a range of audiences,
- Self-organise workload and meet deadlines.
