What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive Office Administrator to join our hard working and dedicated team in the school office for two days a week.

Your opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for an Office Administrator to provide administrative support as a member of the school’s office team. This varied role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to learn all aspects within the department, developing their knowledge and skills. They will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the busy day to day school life and be a strong team player.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in an administrative role and should have good communication and organisational skills. Due to the nature of the post, they will need to be flexible in their work ethic and willing to help the rest of the team. Experience of working in a school office would be desirable but not essential.

What we are looking for

The successful candidate should:

  • Be dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated
  • Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
  • Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
  • Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
  • Be a confident and clear communicator with parents
  • Have GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above
