Primary Academy is a vibrant school where children are enthusiastic and

The
academy was built in 1961 and is a one-form entry Primary Academy. The Academy
comprises of 7 classes, together with an assembly hall, stage area, study zone,
ICT suite, cooking area, dining room, two offices and staffroom. It is
furnished and equipped to a high standard.
The Role
Upwood Primary
Academy is looking to recruit an Office Administrator to join their passionate
and enthusiastic team.
The successful
candidate attend to requests from staff, children, parents and external
visitors and provide an effective service to these groups either by phone,
e-mails or in person. They will have a continued focus on the
security and safeguarding of children at Upwood Primary Academy.
Provide
secretarial and general support for the Principal and their team enabling
them to be successful in leading the improvement of the Academy. Being
accountable for day-to-day decisions on operational matters, within agreed
guidelines of policies and procedures.

You will:
- Be enthusiastic about helping young people to succeed.
- Have the ability to form strong professional relationships with staff, children, parents and external visitors.
- Be organised.
- Have the ability to communicate with colleagues on current workload and hold effective handovers for the job share role
