Office Assistant job summary
Springfield Primary School is seeking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic part-time Office Assistant to join their hard working school team.
If you are a confident, friendly and flexible individual who would like to make a difference to the outcomes of the children attending our school, this could be just the role for you.
Your opportunity
Reporting to the Office Manager, the successful candidate will provide high quality, varied administrative support for the school, including financial and student welfare tasks. You will be based in our main school office and will be the first point of contact for receiving and processing payments and online financial transactions. Experience of working in an educational environment would be desirable.

- Competency in MS Excel and Word
- Effective and clear communication skills
- Good administration skills and ability to use own initiative
- Personal integrity and loyalty with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Flexible approach and the ability to work on their own initiative

The Details
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: GLF Associate 2.1 - £23,651 FTE
Pro Rata: £16,955.68
Hours of Work: 8.15am - 2.15pm, Monday to Friday, (Term-time only 39 weeks a year)
Closing Date: Wednesday 17th December at 9.30am
Interview date: TBC
