Are you a meticulous organiser with a passion for education? Do you thrive in a busy environment where every day is different and brings new challenges? Hammond Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Office Manger to oversee the daily operations of our bustling school office.
The purpose of the role is to manage the smooth functioning of the school office, to lead and manage the administrative systems ensuring the most effective use of resources to support the school Principal, staff, parents and pupils. You will line manage the administrative staff that work within the school office. You will report to the Hub Business Partner.

The main duties are:
Ensure that all that come into contact with the school office have a welcoming and positive experience, such as visitors, parents, staff and pupils. The office is the first point of contact.
Oversee distribution of office tasks to the office staff to ensure all duties are covered and carried out to a high standard. Lead and guide the office staff, overseeing their work, delegated tasks and fostering a positive team environment.
Support the school Principal and Leadership Team with the smooth running of the school.
Maintain accurate pupil and staff records, attendance data, and other administrative records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct on boarding for all new staff, maintain the Single Central Record.
Responsibility for inputting school payroll changes monthly to external provider on SAP portal.
Manage the schools lettings and look for ways to increase revenue through additional hirings, grants and initiatives.
Maintain and update the school website ensuring compliance and creating an inviting and informative space for current and prospective parents and staff.
Oversee the input of purchase orders onto the Trust finance system, tying up invoices and delivery notes and submission to Central Finance Team for payment.
Be the day to day contact for the Site Manager and the Central Premises Team.
Be the first point of contact for staff with any pay or contract queries.
