Saint Benedict Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an office Manager to join our busy school.

Situated in the beautiful Darley Abbey area on the outskirts of Derby, Saint Benedict is the city’s only Catholic Secondary school. We serve a wonderfully diverse community of students who come from over forty countries around the world and who come from all parts of Derby and beyond.

What are we looking for?

Responsible for:

General office staff, Administrators, Reprographics Manager, Reception Staff and Lettings Manager

Job Purpose:

To oversee the work of the areas listed above including line managing staff working in the designated areas. To ensure that office and admin support services provide a high-quality customer focused administration and office management service for senior leaders, staff, students, parents, carers and governors.

Your responsibilities

  • To provide general administrative support within the school office and for senior leaders and other teaching staff in the school.
  • To promote the ethos of the school when communicating with children, staff, parents, governors and visitors.
  • To provide a positive image of the school in accordance with the mission statement.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience of working in a busy administrative school role
  • Professional, friendly and approachable and able to relate well to staff, students and visitors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
