Office Manager job summary
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and support the school office team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of a busy front office
- Oversee HR administration in line with the Trust’s HR Shared Services, under the guidance of the Trust HR Manager.
- Support the Site Team to ensure all Health & Safety checks are completed and recorded.
- Act as the school’s Data Protection Lead, ensuring full compliance with data protection legislation.
- Maintain the school’s Management Information System (MIS), including pupil admissions and leavers.
- Provide high-level administrative and organisational support to staff and the governing board.

- A people person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and flexible, with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a collaborative mindset.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
- A team player who sees the bigger picture and supports others to succeed.
- Calm, empathetic, and a great listener.
- Confident using IT systems including Word, Excel, and Outlook (knowledge of Arbor or similar MIS is a plus).
- Fluent spoken and written English is essential.
