One-to One Teaching Assistant job summary

1:1 Teaching Assistant Vacancies to start in September 2025

Post 1:- We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed 1:1 teaching assistant who has a caring, child centred approach and understands what is necessary to enable children to thrive. You will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 ‘Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools’ or equivalent.

The role will be supporting a child with specific learning needs in accessing the mainstream curriculum as well as providing individualised social, emotional and pastoral 1:1 support.

The role is for Monday - Friday from 08:45 – 12:00 (16.25hrs per week). This is a fixed term post that is reviewed each year, until the child leaves our school. The salary per annum for this post will be approximately £9,265.91 - £9414.76
