FIXED TERM ONE TO ONE TEACHING ASSISTANT
REQUIRED ASAP
To work with a named child
Grade D £24,702 per annum pro-rata for
30.5 Hours per week – 38 weeks per year (Term Time)
(Actual pay £17,216 approx per annum)
We are looking to appoint a one to one Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis to work with a named child in our dedicated team. You should be sensitive to the child’s needs, enthusiastic and passionate about helping and supporting the child’s learning and be able to support in a classroom alongside a teacher.
Brooksward School is a busy, friendly, well-resourced school. We have a hardworking, dedicated staff who work closely as a team for the benefit of all children. The school provides good quality CPD encouraging its staff to develop a wide range of skills. You will work closely with class teachers and other support staff.
The successful applicant will
Have consistently high expectations of themselves and colleagues.
Have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
Be flexible, adaptable, enjoy working with children and be passionate about children’s learning and its improvement.
Ideally educated to at least grade C or above at GCSE in English and Maths.
