Nelson Academy have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Officer to complement our talented, committed and happy administration team. This position is permanent and is due to start September 2025.
Our school is very much a part of the local community in Downham Market, and being part of the Trust certainly helps us to build upon this by making links with other academies in the Trust. Role Purpose
To co-ordinate and administer the operational support processes of the academy ensuring it is efficient and effective and meets the academy needs.
Skills & Experience
Level 2 (GCSE A*-C) or equivalent in English and Maths
Business Admin or equivalent qualification or recent proven high level office experience
Educated to Level 3/A-Level standard
Experiencing coordinating/managing wider functions
Understanding of education preferably primary
Proven experience in a busy general office environment
Very good IT skills and ability to use all Microsoft office suite including the ability to ensure the website is up to date (with training)
Able to produce reports from systems
Understanding of, and ability to comply with the requirements of safeguarding/Child Protection
