What skills and experience we're looking for
Our teacher training business is growing, and we need an operations co-ordinator to help us drive our business functions - organising events, managing a stakeholder database and customer help desk.
The role is a brand new one as part of a growing team based in an accessible Oldham town centre location. No two days will be the same for the successful applicant and the variety of the nature of work, as well as the partnership engagement, will make a great opportunity for someone who thrives on ‘getting things done’ with good organisational and planning skills. We can provide training for specific systems and in relation to the organisation.
We are seeking an experienced self-starter, you don’t have to have worked in education, but your current role, or recent roles maybe operations, data, or events. What matters is that you have good organisational and planning skills and that you are comfortable with large data sets.

The Cranmer Education Trust’s mission is to be a leader of education and a provider of excellent schools which nurture children and young people and enable all to achieve, progress, and experience success, and to become good people, good neighbours and good citizens whom we are proud to know.
We are a Church of England Trust. Therefore, we serve the whole community. We welcome all schools, both faith-designated or community, who want to go on a journey together to build a great future for children and young people.
Our schools embrace the full age range from nursery to 19. We welcome schools from all phases so that we can continuously improve our offer, particularly on transitions between key stages.
Our nationally accredited Initial Teacher Training arm, Manchester Nexus, trains 70+ (and increasing) new teachers per year, both primary and secondary, so that we have a pipeline of energetic, committed and skilled people for our schools. Training and mentoring new teachers enables our staff to develop professionally and progress in their careers. A growing trust provides further opportunities for career progression and helps us retain our people.
The East Manchester Teaching School Hub is our Trust’s school-led centre of excellence for teacher training and development. The hub provides quality professional development for teachers and leaders at all stages of their careers across the region. Through our hub, we are committed to great teaching, great schools and great leadership for children and young people. We do this through openness and dialogue.
