Operations Manager job summary

Cottenham Village College and The Centre School have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager is a senior member of the team who will lead and have full oversight of all non-educational operational aspects of the schools.

The role combines the leadership of associate staff in the delivery of key support services and activities, whilst acting as a professional lead in the school for the support of the Principals in all aspects of academy business operations, particularly relating to:

  • Leadership of operational processes within the school
  • Oversight of main offices/reception areas and their primary functions, including ensuring every visitor to the schools have the true academy experience
  • Oversight of the academy catering and close working with the head chef
  • Oversight of the policies to ensure all are up to date and compliant
  • To act as the DPO (Data Protection Officer)
  • To act as the EVC (Educational Visits Coordinator)

You will be a confident individual with experience working within a similar role and should have the necessary experience or qualifications within a certain relevant trade. You will have strong ICT and organisational skills with great written and verbal communication skills.
