The role

37.5 hours per week, All Year Round.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to co-ordinate and oversee day to day operations at North Oxfordshire Academy, and to secure effective value for money services and solutions, to facilitate the delivery of outstanding educational outcomes and a safe learning and working environment.

The successful candidate will contribute to our success by working with colleagues across a range of responsibilities. You will be responsible for the overall strategic direction & operation of the business functions of the Academy in relation to management of extended school services, site, ICT, compliance and administration. The role will require you to ensure compliance requirements are met, including General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

About You

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, business planning and problem-solving skills, with experience of successfully leading and developing a team of people, setting targets and monitoring performance.

If you are committed to providing a quality service, are highly organised but flexible to meet the needs of the school, have great management skills, excellent communication skills and experience of controlling costs without compromising quality, then this will be the perfect job for you.

Your application will need to demonstrate that you are/have:

Experience of leading business operations in an educational or commercial environment.
A proven ability to lead and deliver projects on time, to budget and to the required quality.
Knowledge of a wide range of work related legislations.
Able to develop quality assurance systems to ensure strong performance and impact.
An enthusiastic leader, committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for all pupil and staff.
