Operations Manager job summary

We have exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced and efficient Operations Manager on a permanent basis.

We are looking for a candidate who can turn their hand to the running of a busy school office, managing day to day duties with a smile, and deal with parents and children's enquiries. Our ideal candidate, has excellent communication skills and can coordinate the administration of our academy with ease. You will have good ICT skills too, working with a range of software and online platforms for reporting and recording, managing the school data.

You will provide support to the Principal and work closely with Central Trust Human Resources, Sites and Finance teams. We need someone who works as a key player in our small, happy team, but equally someone who is able to work on their own initiative, making good decisions with a caring approach.

As this is a varied and busy role, exceptional organisational skills are essential. We hope you will love working with children and enjoy seeing how the administration of a school impacts positively on our outcomes.

Grade G £25,933 - £27,789 per annum, pro rated (FTE £29,269 - £31,364)

37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks (40 weeks per year)

Role Purpose

The main purpose of this role is to ensure the effective operation of all aspects of the main office, reception etc. and to proactively support the development of a dynamic Academy community through effective delivery of administrative services to meet the needs of every stakeholder. Skills & Experience

This a key post within the Academies and you will need to be a strong manager with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure and to multiple deadlines. You will hold a Business Administration or equivalent qualification or a recent proven high level of office experience.

All successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check including the Children's Barred List.
