Orbis Student Counsellor
Responsible to: Orbis SEND Lead
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Pattern Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.00pm Fridays 8.00am – 3.30pm
Working Days: 190 days per annum excluding school holidays
Holiday: 28 days plus bank holidays to be taken during periods of school closure
Salary: Orbis PayScale 17- 22 £25,981 - £29,394 (FTE), Actual Pro-rata Salary £21,977- £24,864 per annum.

We have an exciting Trust opportunity for an outstanding counsellor to join Orbis Education Trust. The Student Counsellor will support the mental and physical health and emotional wellbeing of all students. They will provide a high-quality counselling service to students experiencing a wide range of social, emotional and health issues.
They will be key to Orbis Education Trusts commitment to ensure all students reach their academic potential, develop the values and behaviours the Trust espouses and are best prepared for a fulfilled and successful adult life.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual, eager to make a positive contribution to the aspirational vision for this thriving trust. They will be dynamic and innovative practitioner, who is passionate about their area of work, the impact it can have on a young person's development and all-round education.
