What skills and experience we're looking for
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the manager to plan and facilitate a range of fun and engaging activities for the full age range of children
- Assist children with their homework and reading
- Contribute to the day-to-day maintenance of the Out of School Club, including serving tea and clearing up
- Ensure the environment is warm and welcoming for all children
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Enthusiasm and a genuine passion for working with children
Desirable Qualities
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or a related field
- Experience working with children in a play or educational setting
- Knowledge of the EYFS and/or National Curriculum
- Creativity and imagination to plan exciting activities
