Salary: BTCT points 3 to 4, actual starting salary £13,000 per annum

The Apex centre is seeking to appoint an outdoor Learning Support Assistant to join our new team of support and teaching staff who are responsible for developing the skills and unlocking the potential of young people who are at risk of permanent exclusion from their educational setting. This is a chance to work in a new and exciting provision providing a bespoke curriculum to match each individual learners needs.

The post includes mostly working outdoors in the gardens, forest school or with our small collection of animals. This role provides the opportunity to make a real difference to individuals who deserves every success in life.

This role also includes supporting students being transported from the Bridgwater area to and from the Apex Centre, sitting and engaging with students whilst on the Apex minibus.

Successful candidates will be educated to at least GCSE (or equivalent) grade C in English and Maths and will be committed to building strong relationships with others and putting the students first.
