This role will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of our Forest School outdoor education program. This position will play a pivotal role in enhancing our students' learning experiences and nurturing their connection with the natural world.
Requirements of the post are:
- Experience working with 11-16 age group in an educational or other setting.
- Relevant teaching or support experience, including in outdoor/forest/adventurous education.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A passion for the positive impact of outdoor education on the lives of young people.
- A commitment to developing sustainability and environmental conservation.
- Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Lead and/or other relevant certification desirable.
- Recognised Forest School Leader qualification (Level 3 or higher) or willingness to undertake this in the first term in post.
- Recognised First Aid qualification or willingness to undertake this in the first term in post.
