Our Story:

The Bridge London Trust comprises three special schools, one mainstream primary, a teaching school and an outreach service in Islington, North London. The Bridge School has Primary and Secondary sites and provides for pupils with severe learning difficulties and autism. The Bridge Integrated Learning Space caters for pupils with extremely complex needs. The Bridge Satellites are a half-way house between mainstream and special school. We are continually striving to develop our work and provision.

We are looking to recruit an Outreach Advisor to join our excellent Outreach team. We are seeking a high calibre candidate who will have knowledge and skills of working with mainstream and specialist school staff to develop their capacity in meeting the needs of pupils and young people with autism and/or learning difficulties. The successful candidate will be required to work independently and have the skills and experience to enable autonomous practice in all areas including consultation responsibilities, service delivery and decision-making.

This is a vitally important role and the successful candidate will be expected to champion The Bridge London’s ethos, philosophy and practice. Our holistic philosophy demands a team approach from all staff under the leadership of the Executive Headteacher, the Satellites Headteacher and Head of the Outreach Team.

This is an exciting time to join The Bridge London Trust. Each element of the organisation has its own unique identity whilst subscribing to the 5 Ps (Partnership / Positivity / Professionalism / Pride / Passion). The Bridge London is a great place to work. We have a great staff team and provide lots of support, guidance, friendship and fun for our staff.
