Outstanding EYFS lead
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and highly motivated Early Years Practitioner to join our Senior Leadership Team from January 2021. The successful candidate will join our two form entry school which offers a very supportive community of children, parents and professionals. This position offers a TLR2 payment, currently at £2,796.00
The successful candidate would be responsible and accountable for:
• 60 children in Reception
• A 3 year old Nursery which operates mornings, afternoons and full days and can take up to 30 children FTE
• Leading, managing and supporting an enthusiastic Early Years team of staff
• The delivery of outstanding teaching and learning across EYFS
• Monitoring the progress and attainment of all of the children in Early Years
• Induction and transition, both termly and annually
• Teaching their own class of reception children
We are looking for somebody who:
• Will embrace our whole school ethos, committing themselves to success through effort and teamwork
• Has experience of teaching within the Foundation Stage
• Has good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Has strong commitment to raising achievement and a proven track record in raising standards
• Is knowledgeable and passionate about education
• Is open to new ideas and approaches
