Overdale Community Primary School - KS1 EYFS Learning Support Assistant job summary

You will support pupil’s learning as the priority role alongside supporting teachers in the preparation of activities, lessons and the learning environment. You will also be required to supervise children / organise play activities during our lunchtime period.

We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience working in a primary school environment with at least an appropriate level 3 NVQ qualification or willingness to complete.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Is resilient to the challenges of working in a growing community with a range of social, emotional and academic needs.
• Can communicate effectively.
• Can promote children’s well-being.
• Has good subject knowledge and the ability to use a wide range of strategies to motivate and challenge individuals and small groups.
• Has the ability to engage positively with parents and the community and be able to promote our visions and values.
