What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a highly co-ordinated and organised administrator to join our supportive and established administration team at The Brian Clarke CofE Academy and provide a high level of professional and administrative support. This is a varied and rewarding role which includes being PA to the Headteacher and administering the student admissions process and staff recruitment.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent organisation, planning and administrative skills.
- Has great attention to detail.
- Has excellent interpersonal skills and is an outstanding communicator.
- An appetite to develop and learn, with a positive and proactive approach to work.
The school specific systems are likely to be something the successful candidate will need to learn, but by already having strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to work, this should not be a problem.
You will be working within a team of exceptional staff who are striving to achieve the school’s vision and work together to create a genuinely outstanding school and shape the totality of the Brian Clarke experience for our young people. As PA to the Headteacher/ Senior Administration Officer, you will help shape our provision in this area.

This position will be based at The Brian Clarke CofE Academy but may from time to time require travel as necessary to collaborate with other schools which are all locally based.

The Brian Clarke Church of England Academy is a new 11-16 Free School that opened its doors to 240 Year 7 pupils in September 2022. We will continue to grow annually to a pupil body of 1200.
The school reflects the community it serves; multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multi-faith, within a Church of England ethos. There is a balance between faith intake (with equal allocations between two categories of Christian and other major world faiths) and non-faith intake from 3 concentric circles of 1, 2 and 3 miles around the school.
