PA to Headteacher
Post Title: PA to Headteacher
Responsible to: Headteacher
Hours: 37 hours per week (with a 30 mins unpaid lunch break each day)
Working Pattern: 8.00am to 4.00pm (Monday to Thursday), 8.30am – 3.30pm (Friday)
Number of Weeks Worked: 42 weeks per year (38 weeks term time plus an additional 4 weeks)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Kingsthorpe College as the PA to the Headteacher for our vibrant, forward thinking Secondary School. The ideal candidate would have experience of working as a PA preferably having experience of working in a school environment, although this is not essential.
The candidate would ideally have excellent communication and IT skills. You will provide administrative support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, enabling the efficient running of the school and assisting the Headteacher in managing effectively the varied demands on their time.
Kingsthorpe College is an oversubscribed 11-18 Academy with approximately 1400 students on roll (200 students Post-16). We were graded by Ofsted as Good in all areas in December 2019, and we are now looking forward to the next stage of our journey from good to great. In September 2021, we joined Orbis Education Trust, and this has unlocked further possibilities for colleagues to develop, progress, and make a significant contribution to inspiring the students within our schools.
