Location: Filey School
Contract: Permanent – TTO, plus 3 weeks.
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8am -4pm and Fridays 8am – 3:30pm.
Salary: Grade H, SCP 18-23, £29,269 - £32,076 pro rata per annum (Actual salary £27,337.94-£29,959.75)

Our Opportunity
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and organised professional looking for a rewarding career in education administration, to the post of PA to the Headteacher at Filey school.
You will provide a comprehensive administrative support system to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
The role is varied and fast paced and will involve dealing with a variety of administrative activities including to manage and maintain appropriate records for staff, oversee the administrative team and provide statutory information for the local governing body.
You will:
- Maintain the calendar for the Headteacher and key staff.
- Book training, conferences accommodation and travel for Headteacher and SLT.
- Arrange meetings and hospitality on site.
- Note taking for SLT and other meetings as required.
- Manage Business Administration Manager’s workload.
- Contribute to the development of administrative policies and procedures.
- Provide cover for support staff absence.
- Prepare documents for local governing bodies.
- DBS and safeguarding checks
- Arange recruitment interviews and ensuring all documentation is completed.
- Ensure all Trust policies and procedure are followed appropriately.

Filey School is an 11-16 mixed community school serving the coastal town of Filey and its surrounding villages. We have a proud heritage in our local community and are embarking on a period of transformation and improvement.
